LIUNA Local 630 is a Public Employee Union and represents Service contracts. There are 15 different contracts throughout Florida from the Palm Coast, Florida-Georgia line and as far as the Panhandle. We are a diverse Union in that we represent workers in many positions such as janitors, lineman, various jobs in water/wastewater, equipment operators, code enforcement, sanitation, IT Techs, accountants and more.
Laborers' Local 630 was established in 1980 and has grown immensely as it originated and organized the City of Jacksonville. Over the years, other LIUNA locals have merged together and negotiated Service Contracts.
We continue to grow internally through organizing other Cities and Counties. We are on the move and understand the Steward structure is one of the most important keys to success.
